we are goonies

Hello, my name is Paul Wright and I am a writer. Hence, I have a blog. I am a Christian and a musician. I am also a hooper who loves a good open gym. I grew up in Eugene, Oregon and started pursuing music in high school. I attended Northwest Christian University, where I played ball, and graduated with a degree in Communications. I then attended the Contemporary Music Center in Martha's Vineyard, MA. In 2002, Toby Mac heard a demo of mine and signed me to his record label Gotee/EMI. Since, I have been on tour globetrotting, daydreaming I played for Harlem. In 2006 while living in San Diego I thought of starting a street team called 'The Goonies' inspired by the classic movie filmed in my home state. We, like the Goonies, are on an adventure of a lifetime but the treasure we seek is an understanding of why we are here. I hope to join you in this adventure and provide a soundtrack along the way. I currently reside in Corvallis writing, recording and performing music and playing lots of ball. Hope you enjoy my blog!
