Which album cover do you like best?

I’m getting ready to release single #2 and wanted your feedback on the album cover options. A little about the song:
- inspired by the movie Slumdog Millionaire
- reggae style track
- love song

  3. I don’t know what to say about the album cover, they all look good. Where is your tour schedule? I’d love to see you in concert. Are you doing the Winter Jam with your bud TobyMac?

  4. at first i was going to say “c” because i really like how the sun takes on such a powerful presence above the dismal looking city below. like it overrules the darkness… while at the same time making the darkness look even darker… does that make sense?
    and i think the title,”sweet sweet love” contrasts really well with the imagery by giving off a sort of raw, gritty idea of romance. a kind of contradiction that only intensifies the idea of love.

    but then i start leaning more toward “b” because i think all 3 of your ideas are placed well in that picture. intense orange is associated with reggae and it has a romantic feel to it. plus, the buildings are beautiful while at the same time they look really old and decrepit. if you went with this, i think it would be a different direction in art than you’ve gone with before.

    “a” looks cool and totally pulls off the romantic/love aspect… but i’m not sure about the other two parts.

    “d” isn’t bad but you’ve kinda done this idea before kinda sorta…

    so… i dunno… i’m still leaning more toward “b”, but based on all the thoughts that i got from “c”, i’m kinda going back and forth… haha. i dunno, what do you think??
    btw, i haven’t actually seen that movie yet but i did read the synopsis so i had at least that to go on.

  5. You could create 4 versions of the record, each with an exclusive track – so we have to buy all 4!

    But to save on cash, I vote A. :)

  6. Paul…is it too late to give an opinion? I’ll give it anyway :o ) I think “D” is a neat photo…but I really like “B.” It is an awesome shot and I love the sunset, the sun and the different style buildings and everything about it…it’s a neat pic. Where was it taken?

    I love the clouds on A, but I think I actually like B best given the info. D is my least favorite.

  9. I was going to say A, but then I realized…yes, after reading other comments I like B too. Because it’s different from other album covers and pictures you’ve had in the past. I’d say D it WAY too generic.

    Sorry, as a photo student, I think it’s getting old to see the palm trees over and over again.

    I also think that B would go well with the song if it’s a love song since the photo looks a bit romantic.

    Can’t wait to hear it :]
